Healing Through Sound and  Vibration

Vibroacoustic  Therapy

Vibroacoustic Sound Bed Therapy is a deeply restorative wellness modality that uses low-frequency sound waves and soothing music to deliver gentle vibrations throughout the body. As you lie comfortably on a specially designed sound bed, these vibrations resonate through your muscles, tissues, and nervous system, promoting deep relaxation, stress relief, and improved circulation. This therapy supports the body’s natural healing processes by calming the mind, reducing pain, improving sleep, and enhancing emotional well-being. Ideal for those experiencing chronic stress, fatigue, or nervous system dysregulation, vibroacoustic therapy offers a non-invasive, science-backed approach to resetting and rebalancing both body and mind.

Our brains operate on electrical rhythms called brainwaves, and these waves change based on our mental state. There are five main brainwave states: Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma — each linked with a different state of consciousness and healing potential.

Delta waves, which are the slowest, occur during deep sleep and unconscious states. These waves are associated with physical healing, cellular repair, and deep restoration. People recovering from trauma or burnout may benefit from soundscapes that promote Delta activity, especially during sleep.

Theta waves are slightly faster and tend to arise during light sleep, dreaming, meditation, or deep relaxation. This is the frequency linked with subconscious access, emotional healing, creativity, and intuitive insights. Theta-rich environments are often where trauma processing, deep breathwork, and visualisation work can be most effective.

Alpha waves emerge when we’re relaxed but still awake — think of that calm, peaceful state during a nature walk or just after a yoga class. Alpha waves help regulate the nervous system, support integration of learning, and reduce stress. These frequencies are great for transitions — moving from a busy day into a more grounded, receptive space.

Beta waves are linked to focused thinking, problem solving, and getting tasks done. They dominate when we’re in alert, active states — like during work or social interaction. While necessary, too much Beta (especially “high Beta”) can contribute to anxiety and mental overdrive.

Gamma waves, the fastest, are often associated with high-level cognitive functioning, memory recall, compassion, and spiritual insight. These frequencies are sometimes accessed in deep meditation, peak states of consciousness, or during creative breakthroughs.
